Assistant Bar Manager
Location: The Whistler Sports & Social Club

Job Type: Part or Full-Time (40hrs per week)

About Us: Join our friendly community at The Whistler Sports & Social Club. We are a hub for local sports clubs and social gatherings, open 7days a week & offer a welcoming atmosphere. Sporting events are shown on multiple TV screens, with events scheduled around key matches.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Bar Manager to work alongside our Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage bar operations, including inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness.
•Train, supervise, and schedule bar staff.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
•Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Requirements:
•Proven experience working in a similar environment or similar role.
•Strong leadership and team management skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Understanding of bar management software and POS systems (training on our systems will be provided)
•Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
•A passion for creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our members and guests.
•Someone with vision to widen the events etc we put on, from your experience to date
.•Ability to take on some administrative functions as required
.•Must live locally to provide backup to bar staff
